This project works to integrate textual, or Homeric, evidence of the Trojan War with the archaeological and geological findings at Troy.  Together, these elements work to evaluate the historical foundations of Homer’s depiction of Troy.  The main focus, however, is the utilization of excavation records and archaeological findings from Troy to reconstruct the citadel as it may have appeared at the time of the Trojan War in the 13th Century B.C.
